One Way Inbound Link Strategy
Tips About How To Build Inbound Links
The single most important factor in determining your Google Page Rank is the quality and quantity of links from web pages at the websites linking to your web page. So why are inbound links so important?Think of a link to one of the web page's at your website as a vote in favor of that web page. The more votes you get the better your Google Page Rank gets and that means you will get more traffic from the search engines. But of course there's more to it than that! Getting a website to link to you with out a link in return is not easy but it is possible.
Here Are Valuable Inbound Link Building Tips:
- Create an interesting website that has unique and valuable information and other websites will automatically link to it.
- Showcase compelling images and write interesting photo descriptions, share the story behind the photo with website visitors adding value to the guest experience and over time links will come.
- Everybody's an expert on something. Write online articles at GoArticles.com or EzineArticles.com on topics related to your website. Then in the resource box at the bottom of your article, place a link or two to your website. One to your homepage and one to a page within your website that relates to the articles topic (a deep link).
- Participate in online forums and ad valuable input to discussions relevant to your photo website. Most forums allow a link to your website especially if your contribution to the forum thread is relevant and interesting. This is an excellent one-way inbound link from a relevant site to your website.
Some links are more powerful than others.
- Start photo moblog and link to your main photo website from your Bio or Profile. Write a nice inviting description of your website with lots of keywords from your site.
- Start a blog and write about a topic relevant to one of your web pages and place a link to the corresponding page of your website.
- Start a photo gallery at another website like Flickr or StockPhotoPlus and link to your main photo website.
- Think of the type of site that would find your website or even a particular page or gallery at your site, useful as a reference for a topic on their site. Perform a Google search for acceptable sites with a decent page rank and email the website and share with them, the benefits of a link to your website from theirs. It doesn't always work, but you can try. Sometimes they'll want a link back, that's called a recipocal link.
- List your photo website in photo directories or general web directories. Some are free and others are expensive. In addition to the one way link to your website from a listing in the directory, internet users search directories to locate websites like yours and if your not listed...
Did you notice how many times I used the word relevant? It's very important to keep your links targeted to your content.
When you give the other site your exact web page address to link to also give them appropriate link text (the words that form the actual link), use your best keywords for that page.
