The Canon Digital Rebel XTi a lean mean shooting machine! The New Rebel XTi is packed with power, now with 10.1 megapixels, you can produce prints and enlargements with excellent sharpness and detail. This high performance digital SLR camera has a start up time of only 0.2 seconds, so when you pull it out quick for a picture and turn it on, it's ready to go when you are! Rebel XTi shoots up to 27 full resolution images in a row at 3 frames per second, very important when your subjects not a poser! Plus it synchronizes with Canon SpeedLites at 1/200th of a second for improved lowlight flash assisted action photographs. All this so you won't miss that magic moment!

• The larger 2.5" LCD screen makes it much easier to view the XTi's data menu and images.
• Rebel XT1 now has the same 9 point AF as Canons pro DSLR the Canon 30D, for more accurate focusing.
• Canon XTi has 6 picture style settings which are the the digital equivalent of switching film. You may also store 3 custom settings.
• The new image sensor cleaning system has an ultrasonic filter that shakes the dust right off. For stubborn particles, Canon has also developed a software solution compatible with the Rebel Xti. Shoot a reference image and easily remove the spot later with the software on your computer.
• New rubberized grip on the Rebel XTi makes the compact DSLR easier to hold on to, making it easier to steady your shots.

This is a fantastic camera for all but the most serious professional photographers. Although the Canon Rebel XTi isn't as hefty as it's Canon DSLR siblings, they somehow managed to squeeze all the features into it's small package including Canon's large-area CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) sensor which captures images with outstanding crispness and tonal range, and offers the most pixels in its class. Recorded on Canon's CMOS sensor, each pixel is captured with excellent detail to create photographs of incredible depth, and resolution, with plenty of information for even poster-sized enlargements!
