Has anyone had success using press releases as backlinks for a website?

Excellent question. Yes I have tried it, and recommend it to webmasters promoting their websites and galleries.

Press releases are an effective way announce a new website or new products and services at your site. Including links to your website in the press release is a good way to build link popularity to your photography website from a site with a high degree of credibility and authority especially if you select a highly respected press release agency.

Also since you write the content it is perfectly matched to compliment your sites niche.

If well done, down the line this can boost your Google PR and can lead to better search engine results positioning.
