• The new larger 2.5" LCD screen makes it much easier to view the 30D's data menu and images.
• EOS 30D incorporates 9 point AF for very accurate focusing. You can chose automatic or manually control the focusing position using the 30D's intuitive, thumb-operated multi-controller.
• Canon 30D has 6 pre-set picture style settings which are the the digital equivalent of switching film. You may also store custom settings.
• The new image sensor cleaning system has an ultrasonic filter that shakes the dust right off. For stubborn particles, Canon has also developed a software solution compatible with the Canon 30D. Shoot a reference image and easily remove the spot later with the software on your computer.
• 30D's rubberized grip makes it comfortable to hold on to, making it easier to steady your shots.

Canon's large-area CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) sensor which captures images with outstanding crispness and tonal range, and offers the most pixels in its class. Recorded on Canon's CMOS sensor, each pixel is captured with excellent detail to create photographs of incredible depth, and resolution, with plenty of information for even poster-sized enlargements!

EOS accessories such as the Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E1. For high-speed processing of lossless RAW images and complete capture-to-print workflow management, the EOS 30D also comes with Canon's latest Digital Photo Professional software.
